Grace Chandarlapaty has devoted the past 10 years to community arts education in NYC. She was recently Director of Programs and Community Outreach at Turtle Bay Music School. Previously, she was a Program Associate at Young Audiences New York, the city’s largest arts education provider. A strong believer that the arts are important to the health and strength of any community, Grace specializes in building programs that bring high quality arts to the public, provide access and arts education to the underserved, and support emergent teaching artists.

Grace holds a B.A. in Music and Psychology from Swarthmore College and an M.M. in Piano Performance from Temple University. Her principal teachers have been Charles Abramovic for piano, and Gerald Levinson and Thomas Whitman for composition.
