CANCELED – Sheree Clement with Dhegrae & Digression

EtM Con Edison Composer-in-Residence, Sheree Clement presents the world premiere of a new work commissioned by vocal duo Dhegrae & Digression, in a setting of poems by Phillis Levin. A wildly imaginative program curated by Lucy Dhegrae and Ariadne Greif, who are Dhegrae & Digression.

A very different kind of duo: polar opposites, but somehow best friends, singers Lucy Dhegrae and Ariadne Greif’s new project has one foot in contemporary music and the other in performance art. The concert at Flushing Town Hall will include the premiere of a new work from Sheree Clement.

She has performed with the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), Talea Ensemble, the Albany Symphony, at such venues as Miller Theatre, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center.  Dhegrae directs the Resonant Bodies Festival.
