Public Program: Cyrah Ward in “The Black Box: Man’s Playground”

Cyrah Ward, a 2019-20 JCAL/EtM Choreographer + Composer Resident Artist is inviting the audience to an intimate presentation of her mixed media work-in-progress, Man’s Playground (an excerpt of The Black Box). Man’s Playground celebrates the beauty of the black female form while dissecting stereotypes deeply rooted in the founding infrastructures of American society.
