EtM Rooftop Fundraiser
Thursday, October 13, 2016 6:30 pm

Exploring the Metropolis (EtM) invites you to join us for a special evening celebrating and raising funds to support the work we do in securing space for New York City’s performing artists.
Come join us for drinks, hors d’oeuvres, live performances and a silent auction at Symphony House’s beautiful Starlight Club rooftop space near Carnegie Hall.
Exploring the Metropolis will be honoring one of our outstanding Composers-in-Residence, Richard Carrick. Richard was a 2014-15 EtM Con Edison Composer-in-Residence at Turtle Bay Music School. He is a 2015-16 Guggenheim Fellow living in Rwanda and will begin as Chair of the Composition Department at Berklee College of Music this fall. The evening will feature performances of Carrick’s music by members of contemporary/experimental chamber music ensemble Either/Or.
