A charming 2-bedroom country cottage with gorgeous mountain views from every room, located in the Western Catskills. Cottage is new construction with an aesthetic mix of rustic and contemporary touches throughout, such as wide plank pine floors, reclaimed barn board walls, state-of-the-art appliances and custom built cabinetry with soapstone countertops. The 300 sq ft deck faces dramatic mountain views.

The cottage is located on a quiet country road, 2 miles outside the quaint village of Hobart, ‘The Used Bookstore Capital of Upstate NY,’ where you will find several antiquarian and used bookstores, antique shops and much more. Plattekill Mountain offers skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing winter fun!  Choose from 38 exciting trails and 1100’ of vertical drop– they have something  for everyone. You’ll find terrain for all ability levels from 2 mile long beginner trails to double black diamond steeps (some of the steepest in the east). Check out their website for more information.
