On October 13, EtM hosted a Rooftop Fundraiser at Symphony House on West 56h Street near Carnegie Hall. Richard Carrick, a previous EtM Composer-in-Residence and current Chair of the Composition Department at Berklee College of Music, was our honoree. The Starlight Lounge at Symphony House was nearly at capacity, as guests drank, ate, bid on silent auction items and listened to Carrick’s compositions performed by members of Either/Or Ensemble. The event netted nearly $7,000 for EtM’s programs, which provide NYC-based performing artists with space to develop new work.

We wish to thank our EtM Board, members of our Fundraising Event Committee, donor to our silent auction, Lagunitas, Trader Joe’s, Insomnia Cookies and Stems in Brooklyn for their donations of food, beer and flowers for the evening.
