2014-15 EtM Con Edison Composer-in-Residence Mary Kouyoumdjian has a very busy spring coming up. In addition to presenting her EtM public program at Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy (date TBA), she is overseeing a host of projects for Hotel Elefant, the contemporary music ensemble that she co-founded and directs.

On tap this spring for the ensemble is the recording and release of their first album, a speakOUT concert on March 8th featuring Paola Prestini, and a  portrait concert of Kouyoumdjan’s works on May 12 for the Armenian Genocide Centennial.
