Take the Survey! Help the Performing Arts in Queens!

David Johnston

This is your chance to have an impact on the
future of the performing arts in Queens.

We have just launched our preliminary surveys of Queens-based performing artists and cultural facilities and we need to hear from you.

These surveys are part of EtM’s exciting new project, the Queens Workspace Initiative (QWI). Over the past few years we’ve noticed an increase in both the quantity and caliber of artists who call Queens home. In response, we’ve decided to conduct a study with the goal of developing strategic and policy recommendations that will help boost growth within Queens’ performing arts landscape.

Below are links to two surveys that we have created. One is directed to Queens-based performing artists and the other to Queens-based cultural facilities. Please take seven minutes to complete the survey that applies to you:

Take the Survey for Queens-Based Performing Artists

Take the Survey for Queens-Based Cultural Facilities

(If you represent a cultural facility and are also a performing artist, we welcome you to take both surveys.)
We also encourage you to send the survey links to anyone else who you think might be interested. Without a significant number of responses, the data we’re gathering may not be valid and thus we won’t be able to help fight for programs and structures that support Queens’ performing arts community.
