We learned some sad news today.  Liz Berger, a longtime friend and adviser to EtM, succumbed to pancreatic cancer at the age of 53.  Liz, who had headed the Downtown Alliance since 2007, was a generous adviser to many arts groups.  She worked as a lobbyist to the City for arts organizations at the law of office of Claudia Wagner, and was free with her expertise.  She was kind and very very smart. She leaves a husband, Frederick Kaufman, and two children. We will miss her, and we extend our condolences to her family.
