We had another delightful host organization meeting yesterday, this time with 2012 Composers-in-Residence Gabrielle Herbst and Molly Herron at the Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy. Located in Brooklyn’s bustling downtown area, BYCA resides in a two-story brick townhouse, replete with custom-renovated studios and two large rehearsal spaces. Associate Music Director Elizabeth Woodhouse gave a full tour of the facilities and filled us in on BYCA’s amazing fall lineup. We’re thrilled to be working again with the Grammy Award-winning Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy and its thriving musical community. Gabrielle and Molly decided to stay and chat some more with Elizabeth after our meeting ended … we look forward to hearing and sharing more details about their residencies!
