Guidelines and Applications are up!

David Johnston

They’re here! We are thrilled to announce the fourth round of the 2012 Con Edison Musicians’ Residency: Composition Program. Guidelines and Applications are available for download immediately.

Eight NYC-based composers will be selected for residence in four wonderful host facilities – Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy, Bloomingdale School of Music, Flushing Town Hall and Turtle Bay Music School. Composers receive three months of free workspace, a $1,000 stipend, and complete one public program in cooperation with the host facility.

The deadline is Friday, June 1, 2012, 5:00pm Eastern Time.

If you’re a composer, don’t delay. If you know a composer, please help us spread the word. Lastly, sign up for our twice-monthly e-blast for reminders, news and updates.
