Announcing Our Host Facilities for 2012-2013!
We are thrilled to announce our four fabulous host facilities for the 2012-2013 Con Edison Musicians’ Residency Program! New to the roster this year is Bloomingdale School of Music – a long-standing community music school located in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, committed to providing high quality music education for all. As we enter our fourth residency cycle, we are proud to continue partnerships with Flushing Town Hall (year four), Turtle Bay Music School (year three) and Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy (year two). Each of these dynamic organizations provides important cultural and educational resources to its community. And through our Con Edison Musicians’ Residency partnerships, these organizations have additionally provided much needed work and performance space for our composers.
We extend our sincere thanks to each of the host facilities, their staff and community for partnering with us. And since we would like everyone to learn more about our facilities, stay tuned for a new blog series highlighting unique factoids from each organization!
