Don’t miss Demetrius Spaneas’ Con Edison Musicians’ Residency lecture/concert at the beautiful Flushing Town Hall this Saturday February 18 at 2pm. Demetrius will share his experiences and adventures as a world traveler and cultural diplomat. Demetrius’ public program will highlight new works stemming from his research of traditional Chinese music and will premiere “Autumn Yearning,” a chamber piece for clarinet, viola and piano based on a traditional Chinese folk song.

You might want to read our earlier interview with Demetrius – you’ll get a sense of his cultural, musical and diplomatic adventures.

So we hope to see you this Saturday at Flushing Town Hall! And stay tuned for our next blog featuring Paul Yeon Lee’s culminating program at FTH on Saturday, February 25th.
