2010 Composer in Residence Judith Sainte Croix

Composer Judith Sainte Croix and the Sonora Trio will perform at Union Settlement, 237 E. 104th Street, on July 29, at 1 PM.  This program, entitled “Caribbean Images,” includes new music by Sainte Croix and selections from her “opera-in-progress,” “The Vine of the Soul.”  The program also includes photography of the El Yunque rainforest in Costa Rica by Claudio Miranda. Judith Sainte Croix was a 2010 Con Edison Composer in Residence at Turtle Bay Music School.

This program is free and open to the public. No reservations are necessary.

This program is made possible in part with public funds from the Fund for Creative Communities, supported by New York State Council on the Arts and administered by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
