Just a reminder for all you composers out there. It’s eight days until the deadline for the Con Edison Musicians’ Residency: Composition Program.  Our panel will be meeting at the end of June to choose eight composers in four fantastic facilities.  Awardees will get a stipend and three months of suitable, consistent, fabulous workspace for composition projects.

Guidelines and applications are here.  Wed June 1 is the deadline and it’s not a postmark deadline, it’s an in-hand deadline.  What does that mean? It means the stuff has to be in the door by 5 PM next Wednesday.  So, you still have time.  But not a lot of time if you want to go play this Memorial Day weekend.
