Some exciting news here…the U.S. Navy Band Northeast will be performing a concert at Flushing Town Hall on May 24, featuring works by 2010 Composer-in-Residence Steven L. Rosenhaus.  And on June 5, Flushing Town Hall will present another free program of music by Rosenhaus, this one featuring pianist Laura Leon. Both programs are free.

And don’t forget Helen Sung at Flushing Town Hall in “Sung with Words,” a program of jazz set to poetry by former NEA chair, Dana Gioia. Saturday, April 30, 2 PM.

These free programs are part of the Con Edison Musicians’ Residency.  Know a composer looking for workspace?  Let him or her know about us.  Applications are available now and are due on June 1 for the next round of residencies.
