We recently attended a gathering of New York Grantmakers in the Arts, hosted by the New York Community Trust.  Eugenie, our Director, gave a brief presentation on our recent report, “We Make Do,” and also touched on topics like the NYSCA dance subsidy and the importance of public-private partnerships.

This gathering took place a few weeks ago – but Hoong Yee Lee Krakauer, Executive Director of the Queens Council on the Arts, wrote up a piece for her blog and provided some delightful sketches of all the participants.  (Eugenie is the one in blue.)
